Objectives of creation:

- active and healthy lifestyles, physical culture and sport;
- patriotic and environmental education, nature conservation;
- physical, intellectual and spiritual development of young people;
- development of tourism in Ukraine;
- charitable and social missions.
Short description:
Areas of work under the charter:
- free legal aid, legal consultations and legal education;
- media work: print materials, social media, the internet;
- civic initiatives: monitoring, research, international cooperation, representing local initiatives;
- social and educational programmes for vulnerable groups, support for people with disabilities and older people;
- environmental, cultural and educational activities.
History of creation:
The NGO “Zminymo Maibutnie” (Let’s Change the Future) was registered in Kyiv on 8 September 2014, EDRPOU code 39383928. It is listed in the Ukrainian Register of Non-Profit Institutions and Organizations. Head of the organization: Maksym Stepanenko.
The organization started with help for children affected by the war. In February 2015 its team drafted the social project “Let’s Change the Future”: the art therapy project “Conflicts Through Children’s Eyes” for children from Donbas, the “Kivi” children’s club and the “Giving Joy” programme for children in residential institutions. In October 2015 the NGO was listed among the participating organizations in the resolution of an international conference on rebuilding Donbas infrastructure (Kramatorsk), which supported the regional programme for the integration and social adaptation of internally displaced people. Since March 2022 the NGO has cooperated with the charitable organization UA COIN.
Areas of work: support for children left without parental care and for children’s institutions; social adaptation of orphans; environmental education. Since 2023 the organization has published environmental education articles and practical guidance on targeted help to children’s institutions on this website.
On 22 October 2026 the head of the organization approved by order a set of internal policies: code of conduct, complaints mechanism, personal data protection, anti-corruption, protection from sexual exploitation and abuse, and others. For its projects the organization introduces separate accounting of funds and public reporting; project reports will be published on this website.

The NGO “Let’s Change the Future” was created to support local communities and to solve social problems where they directly affect people’s lives. One area of work is help to children’s institutions, so that children grow up in a safe and caring environment.
The organization works through small local projects, each with a clear goal, named participants and a public report on this website.
We believe that change starts with each of us, and local initiatives can be the first step towards a better future for our children and society as a whole.
